Hello, and welcome to 2016!
Yes, I know – only three full months late!
How has your year started off? We’re already 1/4 of the way through – are you holding to your resolutions?
I have been extremely busy since Thanksgiving/Christmas (the biggest sale-shopping season of the year) and right through the rest of the winter; we moved across the country in January, but I have been flying back and forth for the last 60+ days to support my ‘real’ job. Fortunately, it looks like there is an end in sight and I’ll be able to contribute regularly again.
I’d like to publicly share my three Unveiled Savings resolutions; I hope you appreciate my honesty:
- Publish 52 articles. I’d say ‘publish weekly,’ but we know I’ve already fallen hopelessly behind on that. I certainly intend to exceed this goal, but unachievable goals don’t help much in the motivation arena, now do they? Benchmarks are key!
- Monetize the site. I am already in the approval cycle for Amazon Affiliates and Google Adwords, so I need to dedicate energy to building those features into the page. I will be the first to admit that I’m encouraged to keep working at projects that finally start paying off!
- Develop – and use – consultation paperwork. Most of the couples I work with reach out via casual communication, but I’d like to start tallying and recording our progress. I prioritize helping and responding rather than note taking and reporting, so this is a matter of personal discipline. I welcome your input.
Have you been working on any resolutions? Maintained or dropped them? Need a little encouragement to get back to your commitment? Leave a comment or send a note – would be happy to hear from you!
Again, Happy New Year! 🙂
PS: 1 down, 51 to go!
